The Code of Evidence was drafted between 1993 and 1999.  It took effect on January 1, 2000.  In the seventeen years since,  there have been amendments to the Code and Commentary, but it had never undergone a complete revision - until now.

The Code of Evidence Oversight Committee spent two years drafting a comprehensive revision of the Code and Commentary.  The Supreme Court adopted the revised Code on December 14, 2017.

At this seminar Bob Adelman, who is a member of the Code of Evidence Oversight Committee, will review the revisions and additions to the Connecticut Code of Evidence as applied to civil cases.  The revisions will become effective February 1, 2018.
